The aim of the course is to prepare students to work in an English speaking business and/or professional environment. The course concentrates on a range of professional activities that can often prove challenging to second language speakers such as socializing, telephoning, giving presentations, taking part in meetings and video conferencing. The course offers individuals the opportunity to function more effectively in the work place, feel greater confidence using English and improve their career prospects by showing that they are competent professional speakers of English.

The Intensive Summer English Program (ISEP) is uniquely designed to support international high school and college students who would like to attend undergraduate programs in the United States. The foundation of the program is coursework in the English language skills necessary for academic success. Students also learn about American history and culture through content covered in class as well as field trips to major US cities.
